Shan Huang

Shan Huang has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development and web development. Most recently, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at KAID Health starting in April 2020. Prior to that, they served as a System Developer at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) from May 2019 to April 2020.

From 2018 to 2019, Shan Huang worked at Decision Resources Group as a Lead Front-End Software Engineer. Shan also held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at the same company from 2014 to 2018. In these roles, they contributed to the development and maintenance of various software systems.

In 2014, Shan Huang worked at Vretta Inc. as a Frontend Application Developer. In this role, they played a crucial role in building the Intromath™ cloud learning platform, utilizing technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Git.

Prior to that, they worked as a Web Developer at SchedulingDirect Inc. and Glimpse Inc. in 2013. In these roles, they developed websites from scratch using HTML5, CSS, jQuery, PHP, and Node.js.

During their time at the University of New Brunswick, Shan Huang worked as a Research Assistant Developer at the Intelligent and Adaptive Systems (IAS) Laboratory from 2012 to 2013. Shan also served as a Web Developer at the university, where they designed and developed the Software Engineering department website using Hannon Hill Content Management System (CMS). Additionally, they worked as a Software/Project Developer, focusing on document information extraction and comparison system design.

Finally, in 2009, Shan Huang worked as an IT Support member at the University of New Brunswick's Information Technology Services (ITS), where they provided IT support and performed system optimization and imaging tasks.

Overall, Shan Huang has demonstrated a strong technical proficiency in software development and web development, gaining extensive experience in a variety of roles and industries.

Shan Huang earned a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering (BScSwE) from the University of New Brunswick, having studied from 2006 to 2012. In addition to their degree, Shan Huang also acquired certifications in Condominium Director Training from Condominium Director Training in March 2022 and in Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) from ProTrainings in April 2021.
