Nils Eckstein

Nils Eckstein is currently serving as the NLP R&D Lead and Machine Learning Engineer at kaiko.ai since February 2023. Prior to this role, Nils gained experience as an AI Resident at Novartis from July 2021 to July 2022, focusing on Representation Learning & DNN Interpretability. Nils also worked as a Doctoral Student at ETH Zürich from September 2016 to May 2021, where Nils developed machine learning algorithms for analyzing terabyte-scale electron microscopy image datasets. With a background in Physics, Nils holds a PhD in Machine Learning, an MSc in Physics, and a BSc in Physics from ETH Zürich.
