Matt Banna

Matt Banna has held various positions in a variety of companies since 2009. Matt began their career as a Desk Attendant at Slammers, LLC in 2009. In 2011, they were promoted to Bakery Lead at Mariano's, where they were responsible for cleaning and organizing the department, recording and ordering inventory, and preparing the department for 3rd shift. In 2013, they became Head Coach at Lake Forest Baseball Association, where they instructed 12-15 youth players on skills, discipline, sportsmanship, and rules of the game. In 2014, they founded, acted as President and Treasurer for the Augustana College Club Baseball Team. At this position, they researched and contacted other teams to prepare and present a club team proposal to Augustana College budgetary staff, and managed club activities including scheduling games, fundraisers, and community service events. In 2015, they held two positions: Business Development/Archives at the Chicago Bears, where they managed interactive touch screen boards and scanned, organized, and uploaded historical documents and photos; and Head Coach at Lake Bluff Youth Baseball Association, where they instructed 12 youth players on skills, discipline, sportsmanship, and rules of the game. Since 2016, they have been employed at KaiNexus, where they have held multiple roles, including Enterprise Account Executive, Account Director, Solutions Engineer, and Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience Specialist. In this position, they have supported lead gen operations, assisted the sales team with pre-sales engineering and advanced system/demo configuration, communicated with senior executives to identify client needs, managed KaiNexus social media accounts, written blog posts, eBooks and other company material to drive traffic and potential customers to the website, assisted in the creation of Standard Documents, and communicated with clients about continuous improvement strategy and practices.

Matt Banna attended Libertyville High School from 2007 to 2011. Matt then attended College of Lake County, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in 2011-2013. Finally, Matt Banna earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from Augustana College in 2013-2015.
