Chris Parnell 🔜 GDC

Chris Parnell has had a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2011, they worked as a Machinima Network Respawn Director for Machinima, where they produced and distributed content and developed brand recognition. From 2013 to 2014, they served as the President of Aston Entrepreneurs, overseeing the management and growth of the society and organizing events and competitions. In 2014, they joined IBM as an Assistant Solutions IT Architect, responsible for the technical and commercial relationship with business partners. In 2015, they co-founded Kairos Talent Management and subsequently Kairos Group, Kairos Media, and Kyma Media, taking on roles as Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer. Alongside these ventures, they co-founded Kairos Esports in 2018 and Turopium in 2020, both as Chief Commercial Officer. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Chief Commercial Officer for Horizon Union, an acquisition by Kairos Group and the UK's fastest-growing gaming and esports organization. In their various leadership positions, Chris has specialized in influencer marketing, talent management, and brand partnerships in the creative, gaming, esports, and social media industries.

Chris Parnell completed their secondary school and college education from 2005 to 2012 at Ashfield Comprehensive School. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Aston University from 2012 to 2016.
