Abe Gertler

Abe Gertler is an experienced engineer currently working as a Test Design Engineer at Kairos Power since April 2022. Prior to this role, Abe served as a Research Assistant at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) from October 2021 to April 2022, contributing to research in the natural boundary layer wind tunnel as part of a Master's thesis. Other experience includes a position as a Mechanical Engineer at Natel Energy in 2019, and a Student Research Assistant role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Abe worked as a Design Engineer focusing on Electromagnetic Systems at Hyperloop One in 2017 and completed an internship at Nasdaq in 2015. Abe holds a Master of Science in Fluid Mechanics from EPFL and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
