Bryan Smith

Bryan Smith's work experience begins in 2013 when they worked as a Busser/Server at Texas Roadhouse during the summers of 2014 and 2015. In 2017, they served as a Customer Service Representative at Rita's Italian Ice and also worked as an Information Technology & Security Intern for a Federal Defense Contractor at The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University. During their internship, Bryan performed various IT and cybersecurity tasks for federal/DoD clients. Bryan continued their education at Penn State University, where they were a student involved in IT/Security projects and activities and a member of the Penn State Red Cell Analytics Lab from 2015 to 2022. In 2017, Bryan also served as a Golf Pro Shop Customer Service Representative at Skytop Mountain Golf Club. In 2022, they worked as a STEM Cybersecurity Intern at the DoD Patuxent River Naval Air Station, where they assisted the Naval Aviation Red Team operations and helped build out parts of the National Cyber Range Complex Infrastructure. Finally, in 2023, Bryan joined KAIROS, Inc. as a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst, where their responsibilities include supporting the execution of RMF steps, developing and maintaining RMF artifacts, and monitoring and maintaining system eMASS records according to DoD and Army cybersecurity requirements.

Bryan Smith attended Penn State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Security and Risk Analysis - Information & Cyber Security in August 2022. In November 2022, they obtained a SECRET Security Clearance from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and also received a certification in CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA.
