Gilbert Yan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and entertainment industries. Currently, Gilbert serves as the General Manager for Kaisa Group's International Resorts Group since July 2017 and has also been an Operations Management Consultant for Apex Parks & Entertainment Services since February 2018. Prior to these roles, Gilbert worked as the Director of Operations at Dalian Wanda Group from August 2014 to July 2017, overseeing theme park management. Gilbert's career began at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, where various operational roles were held from January 2005 to July 2014. Previous positions include Concierge Clerk at Island Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong and Merchandise Host at Walt Disney World. Gilbert holds a BA (Hons) degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Birmingham, completed in 2007.
