Carol Akiyama

Carol Akiyama is an experienced project manager and wellness consultant with a strong background in health improvement and corporate wellness. Currently serving as the Lead Project Manager at Kaiser Permanente since January 2006, Carol has previously held positions such as Wellness Consultant and Manager of the Health Improvement Department at Health Net. Additionally, Carol was the Director of the Center for Corporate Health & Wellness at Mt. Diablo Medical Center/Health & Fitness Institute from 1986 to 1994. Carol Akiyama holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary's College of California.
