Dana Colbert-Wheeler

Dana Colbert-Wheeler, MHA, MCHES, serves as an Administrative Leader at Kaiser Permanente since June 2009, focusing on the Southern California Permanente Medical Group. Previously, Dana held the role of Assistant Administrator for the Center for Healthy Living & Bariatric Medicine within the same group. In addition, Dana has experience as a Clinical Health Educator II in Preventive Medicine at the American Public University System from August 2012 to 2023 and has contributed as Adjunct Faculty in Public Health and Health Administration. Prior roles include Director of Cultural Health Initiatives at the American Heart Association from May 2005 to February 2009. Dana earned a Master of Health Administration from the University of Southern California (2004-2007), a Master of Science in Higher Education Studies with a specialization in College Administration and Leadership from Kaplan University (2012-2013), and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion & Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California (2000-2004).
