David Thomason

David Thomason currently serves as SVP, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer at Kaiser Permanente since February 2023. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from November 2001 to February 2023, including Vice President and Controller, Utility Chief Financial Officer, and several senior director and managerial roles in financial planning, analysis, and accounting. David began their career as an Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen from September 1997 to June 2001. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a BS in Accounting from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business.
