Janice Murphy

Janice Murphy, CFA, CAIA, serves as Vice President of Pensions & Investments at Kaiser Permanente, overseeing more than $40 billion in corporate financial investments and nearly $100 billion in pension-related investments. With a robust background in financial management and risk finance, Janice has held various leadership roles within Kaiser Permanente, including Chair and Member of the Retirement Plans' Investment Committee, where responsibilities encompass managing substantial Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plan investments. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and Director of Pension Fund Management at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Janice holds multiple advanced degrees and executive certificates from prestigious institutions, including a Master’s in Finance from Gies College of Business, an Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an Executive Management Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley.
