Mahendra Shelar

Mahendra Shelar is a seasoned professional in cyber security, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Kaiser Permanente since June 2001, where Mahendra leads the Application Security Team focusing on secure web and mobile application development through comprehensive testing methods. Previously, Mahendra held positions including Application Security Specialist Engineer, where responsibilities included performing static and dynamic application security testing and spearheading DevSecOps initiatives. Additional experience includes software development and architecture roles at PC-Doctor, Prospero Technologies, Suvi Information Systems, Hind Syntax Ltd., and Global Information Technology. Mahendra holds an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix and has pursued various certifications in security and programming, including courses from the SANS Technology Institute and Offensive Security.
