Munish Sharma

Munish Sharma, MD OD MBA FAAO, currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the California Optometric Association since February 2024 and as Chief of Staff at Kaiser Permanente since March 2018. Prior to these roles, Munish held the position of Assistant Professor at Western University of Health Sciences, focusing on clinical and didactic education of students, including patient care. Munish's extensive training includes fellowships in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Adult Strabismus, and Cornea and Refractive Surgery, along with residency programs in Ophthalmology and Ocular Disease. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine, and a Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry.
