Lead Inpatient Pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente

Myung Choi, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP, BCCCP has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmacy field. From 2019 to present, they have been working at Kaiser Permanente, initially as an Inpatient Pharmacist and then transitioning to the role of Lead Inpatient Pharmacist in December 2020. Since 2020, they have also worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at UC Davis Health. Prior to these positions, they completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at UChicago Medicine from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they had multiple roles as an intern pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente, where they gained experience in inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory care settings from 2015 to 2018. They also completed various advanced pharmacy practice experiences at Sutter Medical Center, including emergency medicine, critical care, and general medicine rotations in 2017. Earlier in their career, they held intern pharmacist positions at Rite Aid Pharmacy and Safeway, where they gained valuable introductory pharmacy practice experience.

Myung Choi attained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from California Northstate University College of Pharmacy, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of California, Davis, from 2012 to 2014. In 2018, Choi completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Chicago.
