Roy Smart

Roy Smart, MBA, has extensive experience in finance management, currently serving as Finance Supervisor at Kaiser Permanente since January 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of over 20 Financial Analysts and managing operations for the Financial Disbursements Department. Previously, Roy worked at Charles Schwab from 2003 to 2010 in various roles, including Finance Manager and Senior Finance Manager for Corporate Real Estate, handling substantial annual expenses and capital project spending, as well as managing financial reporting and forecasting. Additionally, Roy contributed to IT initiatives at Charles Schwab by designing financial dashboards for performance insights. Earlier career experience includes serving as West Coast Division Materials Manager at BAE Systems, where Roy reported to senior leadership within the executive staff. Roy holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University - East Bay.
