Aazaad Sohail

Aazaad Sohail has extensive experience in program leadership and project management within the social sector, currently serving as a Senior Program Leader at Piramal Foundation since July 2018, focusing on sustainable educational solutions in Araria district, Bihar. Previous roles include Project Officer at Digital Empowerment Foundation, where Aazaad worked on the Indian Public Library Movement funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Program Officer at Bihar Voluntary Health Association, managing health projects for urban and school children. Aazaad has also held positions at The Catholic Health Association of India and Digital Empowerment Foundation, contributing to healthcare initiatives and library dynamics in Bihar. Aazaad holds a Master of Social Work from Pondicherry University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Aligarh Muslim University.
