Pradeep Sreekanthan's education history begins in 1976 when they attended The East West School for twelve years, completing their basic education. Following this, from 1988 to 1991, they attended Williamsville South High School. Pradeep then pursued their undergraduate degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1991 to 1995, majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. Pradeep continued their education at MIT for two more years, from 1995 to 1997, earning a Master's degree (S.M.) in Materials Science and Engineering.
