Akis Kontonasios

Akis Kontonasios is a seasoned technology manager and senior engineering professional specializing in machine learning, currently serving as Technology Manager/Senior Engineering Manager at Kaizen Gaming since January 2024. Previously, Akis held the position of Engineering Manager at Unitary, leading backend and machine learning teams. Experience includes creating and managing the machine learning team at FREENOW, with a notable track record of improving driver acceptance rates, and contributing as a Senior Data Scientist at Yilu, where a next-action recommendation engine was developed. Roles at OSeven Telematics involved leading the development of machine learning components, while earlier positions included impactful data science projects at Workable and Accenture.
