John Puma

John Puma is a seasoned operations leader with extensive experience in navigating strategic shifts and driving growth in various companies. Currently serving as the Business Operations Lead at Kaizen Labs since February 2024, John previously held the position of Operations Lead at AbstractOps, where significant achievements included the launch of an AI-assisted compliance product and a four-fold revenue increase within a year. John also worked as a fractional COO for several high-growth startups, facilitating $90 million in Series A fundraising and onboarding nearly 500 employees. Prior roles include Director of Operations at Places For Less, co-founder of Wizio, Operations Lead at Virtudent, and involvement with MassChallenge and EY's Strategic Growth Markets team. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Management and Entrepreneurship from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
