Jackie Shu

Jackie Shu has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jackie is currently working as a Senior Quality Engineer at Kajabi since March 2021. Before joining Kajabi, Jackie worked as a Sr. QA Software Engineer at Glidewell Dental from September 2019 to March 2021. Their responsibilities included automating tests for web applications using Node.js and WebdriverIO, writing JavaScript step definitions and API functions, and setting up Jenkins jobs for testing. Jackie also conducted code reviews and reported bugs.

Prior to Glidewell Dental, Jackie worked at Acorns, where they held the role of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer from July 2019 to September 2019, and QA Engineer from October 2017 to June 2019. At Acorns, they contributed to quality assurance efforts, including writing test plans, performing regression tests, and reporting bugs.

Before their time at Acorns, Jackie worked as a Software QA Engineer at YP from May 2015 to October 2017. Their role involved testing software applications to ensure quality.

Jackie's career began at ITG, where they held the position of Senior QA Analyst from January 2013 to May 2015 and Quality Assurance Analyst from July 2008 to December 2012. Their responsibilities included conducting quality assurance activities such as writing test plans, executing test cases, and reporting bugs.

Prior to their career in the tech industry, Jackie worked as a Tutor of CODE at the University of California, Irvine from September 2007 to March 2008. Jackie also worked as a Data Analyst at the same institution from January 2006 to June 2007.

Jackie Shu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Jackie has obtained several certifications, including "Advanced Selenium: Automation Frameworks," "Mobile Testing with Appium," "Node.js Essential Training," "Python Essential Training," "Python Object-Oriented Programming," "Using Python for Automation," "Advanced npm," "Learning Jenkins," and "Test Automation Foundations." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn, with the most recent ones acquired in 2021.
