Yoshinobu Adachi

Yoshinobu Adachi is a seasoned professional in Building Information Modeling (BIM) with extensive experience across various organizations. Since July 2017, Yoshinobu has served as Senior Manager in the BIM Solution department at Kajima. Concurrently, Yoshinobu has been involved with buildingSMART International since 2000, focusing on IFC Property Set management and providing local IFC implementation technical support. As Technical Coordinator at buildingSMART Japan since April 1998, Yoshinobu contributes to the technical committee and council group, participating in the STF for IFC Release 2 since 1999. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Engineer at SECOM from 1994 to 2017, where expertise in BIM was developed, and as a Research Scientist at VTT from May 2001 to September 2002, working on the IFC Model Server project. Yoshinobu holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, from Tokyo Denki University, completed in 2008, and a Master’s degree in Electronics, Robotics, from the same institution, obtained in 1992.
