Kyunghoon Kim

Kyunghoon Kim is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in AI policy and strategy. Currently serving as AI Safety Lead and AI Policy TF Lead at Kakao Corp since March 2022, Kyunghoon also holds the position of 국가과학기술자문회의 ICT융합분과 전문위원 with the Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology since January 2023, contributing to national science and technology policy innovation. Previously, Kyunghoon held multiple roles at the Korea Information Society Development Institute, including Research Fellow and Head of the Center for AI Strategy, and participated as an expert in the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence from June 2020 to February 2022. Educational credentials include a PhD in management engineering from KAIST College of Business and a BS in management engineering with a minor in mathematics from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
