Brooke Chong

Brooke Chong is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in news production and content creation. Currently serving as a News Producer at KAKE since April 2023, Brooke previously worked as a Content Writer and Topic Generator at TheThings, where scripts for reality and celebrity segments were developed under tight deadlines. Notably, Brooke earned a Heartland Regional Emmy as a Morning News Producer at KWCH 12, where responsibilities included writing, editing, and creating award-winning newscasts. Additional roles include camera operator and technical media producer at KWCH 12, producer at Whitehouse Post, and editor/content manager at Univision Communications Inc. Brooke holds a B.A. in Television Production Post Production and Editing from Columbia College Chicago.
