Derek Wallace

Derek Wallace has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Derek is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Golden Fork Media, a company that specializes in creating brand ecosystems around perspective changing concepts for kids and family audiences. Prior to this, they co-founded Kalamata's Kitchen, a multimedia children's property that uses food to engage kids in cultural experiences. Derek also co-founded InnerView Group and served as the Leader of Partnership Development.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Derek worked at Shaw Industries, where they held various roles including Marketing Strategist, Sales Innovation Leader, Divisional Commercial Manager, Digital Marketing Director, Contract Sales Specialist, and Account Manager. Additionally, they co-founded and directed a successful after-school program called Shooting For A's, aimed at providing academic and athletic experiences for at-risk students. Derek also served as an Administrator for the Syracuse University Literacy Corps, overseeing recruitment, training, and client relations. Overall, Derek brings a wealth of experience in leadership, marketing, partnership development, and educational programming.

Derek Wallace attended Syracuse University from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued two Bachelor of Arts degrees. Derek studied Public Relations at the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications and Policy Studies at the Maxwell School.
