Kalamazoo College
Alayna Lewis has extensive experience in higher education and international programs, currently serving as the Associate Director for the Center for International Programs at Kalamazoo College since 2014. Lewis has also held positions at Beautycounter as a consultant, focusing on safe beauty products and regulatory advocacy. Previous roles include Coordinator of Services for the College Assistance Migrant Program at Western Michigan University, where support services were designed for first-generation college students, and an Advisor at Davenport University, providing guidance to students on academic and financial matters. Earlier experience includes case management for dislocated workers at Michigan Works! Service Center and research internships at Population Services International and Cornell Annual Fund. Lewis holds a Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on International Development from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Political Science from Michigan State University.
