Peter Zillmann

Peter Zillmann has a range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Peter started their career as a Help Desk Technician at Kalamazoo College in June 2000 and worked in this role until January 2006. From January 2006 to September 2007, they served as a Help Desk Administrator. Peter then moved up in the company to become a Systems and Networking Associate from September 2007 onwards. In July 2023, they were promoted to become the Director of Cybersecurity at Kalamazoo College, a position they currently hold. Additionally, in August 2023, they began working as an Adjunct Faculty member at Wayne State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, where they taught until December 2023.

Peter Zillmann has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Linguistics from Wayne State University, which they obtained from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from Western Michigan University from 2014 to 2017. Peter also holds an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College, which they received from 2002 to 2006. Peter Zillmann completed high school at Interlochen Arts Academy, where they received a High School Diploma in Tuba from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in July 2023.
