Lily Salas

Lily Salas is the current Community Investment Officer at Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Lily previously worked as the Director of College Assistance Migrant Program at Western Michigan University from August 2015 to November 2021. Prior to that, they were a College Counselor at IDEA Public Schools from December 2012 to July 2015.

Lily Salas completed their undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Lily then went on to complete a Master of Social Work at Michigan State University with a focus in Clinical/Medical Social Work. Lily Salas later obtained a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Western Michigan University. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Leadership from Western Michigan University. Lily Salas is also certified as a Behind the W Brand Ambassador from Western Michigan University.

Their manager is Kururama Masomere, Impact Investment Director. Lily Salas works with Kari Benjamin Hamann - Community Investment Manager, Tshepo Mathekga - Community Investment Officer, and Allie Vanheest - Community Investment Officer.
