Asia Haywood

Asia Haywood has a diverse set of experiences in library services and security. Since December 2010, Asia has worked at the Kalamazoo Public Library, serving as a Youth Services Programming Assistant, where the role involves supporting children's librarians, and as a Teen Library Assistant, responsible for assisting youth services librarians, managing desk schedules, creating monthly displays, and contributing ideas for teen programs. Previously, Asia served as a Security Guard at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. from August 2018 to May 2019, focusing on building patrol during the third shift. Asia is currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, with studies ongoing since 2011.
