Caitlin Kramer

Caitlin Kramer is a highly accomplished oboist and educator with extensive experience in performance and teaching. Currently serving as a Performing Artist with Yamaha Corporation of America since September 2022, Caitlin also holds the position of Oboe Faculty at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and Program Manager for the Kalamazoo Children's Chorus. Additionally, Caitlin performs as a Substitute Oboe for several orchestras including the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, West Michigan Symphony, South Bend Symphony Orchestra, Southwest Michigan Symphony, and Battle Creek Symphony since 2019. A freelance musician since 2009, Caitlin offers private lessons in Oboe, English horn, and reed making while operating CKP Oboe Reeds, focusing on handmade reeds and cane preparation. Caitlin holds a Master's degree in Oboe and English horn performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor's degree from DePauw University.
