Margaret Hamilton

Margaret Hamilton is an accomplished horn instructor with extensive experience in music education and performance. Currently serving as a Horn Instructor at both Kalamazoo College since January 2018 and Crescendo Academy of Music since 2013, Margaret has also been a member of the horn section for Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra since 1987. Previous roles include Executive Director at Stulberg International String Competition from May 2013 to January 2020 and various leadership positions at Western Michigan University from 1987 to 2012, including Advising Director for the College of Fine Arts and Assistant Director for the School of Music. Margaret holds a Master of Music in Horn Performance from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Susquehanna University.
