Spencer Markel is an experienced advisor and executive with a diverse background in startups and corporate environments. Currently serving as an Advisor at Kalder and Estate, Spencer previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Magic. With previous positions as an angel investor and advisor at companies such as BizPay, Brainbase, and Datatron Technologies, Spencer has a strong focus on guiding emerging businesses. Founder of pearpop and former President & CEO of Cubcoats, Spencer also has extensive legal expertise as a former Senior Associate at DLA Piper. Educational credentials include an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center and a law degree from Baylor University School of Law.
