Michael Bonham

Michael Bonham, MBA, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Michael started their career as an Adjunct Professor at the Fulbright Association where they taught English and promoted cultural exchange. Michael then moved on to work as an Assistant Manager at Bloom, where they gained experience in operations support and employee management. Following that, they joined Kaleafa and worked their way up to HR Director, overseeing strategic initiatives, compensation and benefits, compliance, and executive recruitment. Michael also held roles as HR Manager and HR Generalist, where they focused on compensation structures, management training, benefits administration, and HR policies and procedures. Throughout their time at Kaleafa, they played a significant role in transforming the company's HR department and supporting its growth from one to eleven retail locations. Michael's work experience highlights their expertise in HR management, leadership, and customer service.

Michael Bonham holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from George Fox University, which they obtained between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed a double major in International Relations and Spanish at Portland State University from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, they have earned certifications such as the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in 2023, Social Media Marketing from HubSpot Academy in 2021, and Human Resource Management from CEPE PSU in 2018. Michael also obtained a Business Data Analytics Certificate from George Fox University in the summer of 2020.
