Renée Reynolds has extensive work experience in the field of neurosurgery. Renée currently holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. Renée also serves as the Program Director for the Neurosurgery Residency Training Program and as the Course Director for Neurosurgery Rotations.

In addition to their academic appointments, Renée has been involved with various organizations and institutions. Renée works as an Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultant for the National Football League (NFL) and as a Pediatric Neurosurgeon at University at Buffalo Neurosurgery (UBNS). Renée also holds the role of Medical Director for Pediatric Neurosurgical Outreach & Education at Kaleida Health and serves as an Expert Neurosurgical Consultant for Product Development at The Jacobs Institute.

Renée Reynolds has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience, with a minor in American Sign Language, from the University of Rochester in 2002. Renée then earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University in 2006. Following this, they completed an internship in General Surgery at Duke University School of Medicine in 2007. Renée went on to pursue a Master of Health Science degree in Clinical Research from Duke University School of Medicine, which they completed in 2009. Renée then completed their residency in Neurological Surgery at Duke University School of Medicine from 2007 to 2012. Renée further enhanced their education by undertaking a Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Washington - School of Medicine from 2012 to 2013. Lastly, they earned a Master's degree in Health Education from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2021.
