Chengxuan Xing

Software Engineer at Kaleido

Chengxuan Xing started their work experience in 2010 as a Student Accommodation Administrator at Nanchang University. In this role, they were responsible for creating duty rosters, conducting monthly health and safety inspections, and helping to resolve conflicts between tenants.

In 2014, Chengxuan completed a Software Developer Internship at IBM as part of the Extreme Blue Internship program. During this internship, they programmed a REST server in Java, manipulated data using JavaScript, and worked in an Agile team using the Scrum methodology. They also presented their project to senior management and potential customers on a weekly basis.

In 2015, Chengxuan continued their career as a Software Engineer at IBM, where they worked until 2022.

Most recently, in 2022, Chengxuan joined Kaleido as a Software Engineer.

Chengxuan Xing has a strong educational background in computer science and software development. Chengxuan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Nanchang University from 2010 to 2014. During this time, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Software Development from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2013.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Chengxuan Xing further enhanced their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master's degree in Advanced Computer Science from the University of York from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Chengxuan Xing has also obtained several certifications to expand their expertise. Chengxuan completed various courses on machine learning and deep learning from prestigious institutions such as IBM and Coursera. Their certifications include the IBM AI Skills Academy Deep Learning Practitioner certification obtained in February 2020, as well as certifications for courses such as Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning, all obtained between 2019 and 2020.
