Arunkumar Jayakumar

Arunkumar Jayakumar has over 10 years of experience in the field of Technical Project Management, Release Engineering, QA, and Automation. Arunkumar began their career in 2010 as a Quality Control Engineer at Sabre IT Solutions, where they developed and executed Test Cases and Use Cases to test the Screens and workflows for Quality Assurance. Arunkumar also wrote SQL queries to retrieve data from the tables in the database to perform Back end testing. In 2011, they joined AECCloud | Powered by The Cram Group as a Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, they participated in walkthroughs and reviews to determine user requirements and goals, formulated Test Plans, Test Scripts and Test Cases for UAT tests based on the user requirement and functional specs, and conducted manual test execution and evaluated test results. In 2013, they joined ADP as a Senior Research and Development Engineer, where they led Testing initiative - DevOps, including deployments validation for multiple business delivery - UK, EMEA and APAC, and deployments Functional Testing - DB, Application Services and Web deployments testing. Most recently, they have been working at Kaleidofin since 2020 as a Senior Manager - Technical Project Management | Release Engineering | QA | Automation and Lead Engineer. In this role, they monitor the project SW release from initiation through to delivery ensuring full interaction with stakeholders on all matters providing status reports as necessary. Arunkumar has also created a new effective Release process and implemented it in a short span of time, and leads a team for designing & development of test automation framework for mobile based applications using Appium, selenium and java, Ruby and Cucumber. Arunkumar is also responsible for designing test infra-architecture and setting up test environment for test execution in Linux machines and cloud-based environments.

Arunkumar Jayakumar has a comprehensive educational background. Arunkumar obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Madras between 2013 and 2015. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman College of Engineering between 2004 and 2008. Arunkumar also has a Computer Science degree from Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School, which they obtained between 2002 and 2004. In addition, Arunkumar has several certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance obtained in January 2019, International Software Testing Qualifications Board - Foundation Level from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT obtained in July 2013, Advanced Level Test Manager (CTAL) from Udemy, Inc., and ISTQB Agile Testing Certification from Udemy, Inc.
