Juha Laakkonen

Juha Laakkonen has held various key positions throughout their career. Juha began their career as the Head of Administration and Finance at Lapin Urheiluopisto / Santa Claus Sports Institute from March 1995 to June 1999. Juha then moved on to Lappset Group Oy, where they served as IT Manager, R&D Programme Manager, CFO, Interim Managing Director, and finally as CEO from June 1999 to January 2014. Following their time at Lappset Group Oy, they joined Nortal Oy as the Director of Industry & Logistics Business Area for Nortal Inc. in May 2014, eventually becoming the CEO. After three years with Nortal Oy, they joined Kaleva Media in April 2017 as the CEO and President.

Juha Laakkonen began their education in 1987 at Topeka West High School, where they completed their high school education. From 1985 to 1989, they attended Oulaisten lukio, completing their Ylioppilas degree. Following this, from 1989 to 1991, Juha studied at Business school, Oulainen, pursuing a BA degree in Accounting. Finally, from 1991 to 1995, they attended Rovaniemi polytechnics, obtaining a BE degree in Engineering.
