Barry Tishler

Barry Tishler has extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Barry served as the Director of Operations at Kalin Home Furnishings starting from August 2016. In 2018, they became the Executive Director and Founder of the Addiction Education Foundation Inc., where they provided education, training, and resources on substance abuse and addiction. Prior to that, they worked as a Store Leader at JCPenney, responsible for leadership and coaching, from July 2014 to August 2016. From April 2009 to July 2014, they were the Regional Director at World Market, where they achieved significant improvements in sales, profitability, and team development.

Barry Tishler obtained their Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership- Social Entrepreneurship from Nova Southeastern University from 2012 to 2018. Prior to that, they received their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the same institution between 2009 and 2012. Barry'sBachelor's degree in Psychology was completed from Nova Southeastern University from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, Barry has obtained several certifications, including a Professional Certification in Trauma and Resilience: Level One & Two from Florida State University and a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist CRPS from the Florida Certification Board. Barry also holds a Certified Prevention Professional certification from the Florida Certification Board.
