Kelly Herald has worked in various roles in the past decade. In 2011, they began working as a Hostess and Cashier at Monte Cello's Italian Restaurant. In 2014, they moved to Pollock Dining Commons as a Culinary Assistant. In 2017, they became a Microbiology Analyst at Microbac Laboratories, Inc. and in 2021, they started working as a Laboratory Technician at KaliVir Immunotherapeutics.
Kelly Herald attended North Allegheny Senior High School from 2009 to 2013 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Penn State University in 2017.

KaliVir Immunotherapeutics was founded in 2019 to pioneer a unique and novel approach to cancer treatment that engages a virus’ natural ability to replicate in and kill cancer cells
