Alex Bertrand, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and client consultation. Currently serving as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Kallik since March 2022, Alex previously worked as a Finance Business Partner at Martin James Network and held multiple roles at FOG Software Group, including Sr Accountant and Staff Accountant. Additional experience includes positions at MaRS Discovery District as an Analyst in Financial Systems and Reporting, as well as contract work in billing at Goodmans LLP. Alex's career began at Edward Jones, contributing as an Associate in the Client Consultation Team and Operations Specialist. Earlier roles included a Recruitment Specialist at PEOPLEsource Staffing Solutions Inc. and a Sales Associate at Gap Inc., supported by administrative experience at Wilfrid Laurier University's Student Medical and Health Center and lifeguarding at Ontario Place. Alex is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Warwick and holds various degrees and certifications, including CPA designation and a certificate in Data Analytics from Toronto Metropolitan University.
