Jiajun Liu

Jiajun Liu is the current VP & Head of Biometrics at Kallyope.

Liu began their career as an Industrial Trainee/Intern at GlaxoSmithKline from August 2003 to August 2007. They then worked as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck from October 2007 to December 2012. In January 2013, they became the Manager Biostatistician at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and held that position until January 2014. From February 2014 to December 2017, Liu was the Principal Research Scientist (Group Lead) at Eli Lilly and Company. In January 2021, they became the VP of Biostatistics, Programming and Data Management at Gemini Therapeutics, and held that position until April 2022.

Jiajun Liu received their Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Berea College. Jiajun then went on to complete their Masters of Science in Statistics and their Ph.D in Statistics, both from North Carolina State University.

They work with Iyassu Sebhat - SVP, Chemistry, Ben Van De Graaf - Director, Operations & People, and Carlos Guerrero - Director, Process Chemistry. Jiajun Liu reports to Jay Galeota, CEO & President.
