Afnan Elhamshari

Afnan Elhamshari is a Mechatronics Development Engineer at Kalmar since March 2024, previously serving as a Data Analysis and Deep Learning Engineer at deWatch from March 2022 to December 2023, where algorithm development and machine learning architectures were key responsibilities. Afnan held multiple roles at The American University in Cairo from September 2020 to July 2023, including Graduate Teaching Assistant, where instruction and research in Cyber-Physical Systems and Energy Harvesting were prominent. Involvement with USAID as an Alumni Advisor from September 2020 to December 2022 included contributions to scholarship programs for underprivileged students. Afnan's education consists of a Master's degree in Robotics, Control, and Smart Systems from The American University in Cairo, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics-Electromechanical Control Systems from the University of Kansas.
