Jukka Borgman

Jukka Borgman is an experienced technology and research director currently serving at Kalmar since May 2024. Previously, Borgman held the position of Director of Technology Development at Valmet from April 2022 to May 2024 and at Neles from July 2020 to April 2022, focusing on global technology development for industrial valves and innovation. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Technology Development at Metso from July 2015 to July 2020, where responsibilities encompassed global product program management and materials technology. Borgman's career began in academia as Head of the Industrial Service Informatics research group at Aalto University, overseeing R&D project sales and execution from January 2010 to July 2015. Jukka Borgman also worked as Engineering Director at Componenta from June 2008 to February 2010, managing engineering services and product development initiatives. Borgman holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
