Mette Hammer

Mette Hammer is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Digital Solutions at Kalmar since March 2025, focusing on digital strategy and solution development. Prior to this role, Mette held the position of Director of Data, IoT & Cloud at Hiab from January 2023 to March 2025, where Mette led a team responsible for IoT and data capabilities. Mette's extensive experience at KONE included roles such as Head of IoT Platform Development, where Mette managed a team of over 80 individuals, and other leadership positions in digital product solutions and support operations. Mette's career began at IBM as a Software Systems Reliability Engineer, followed by a role as Quality Assurance Manager at Fujitsu Finland. Mette holds a Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Bayesian Statistics and Decision Analysis at Helsinki University.
