Jason Lau has worked in the finance and technology sectors since 2007. Jason began their career as a Portfolio Trader at Goldman Sachs in 2007, then moved to Credit Suisse in 2010 in the same role. In 2012, they became the Head of Sales & Trading at BOCOM International. In 2014, they joined Lingban (AIAAS) Technology as a Product Manager. In 2017, they co-founded and became CEO of KALO Inc., a machine learning backed, social commerce platform. In 2021, they became a member of the Executive Committee at Hong Kong Digital Asset Society and a Director on the Board of Directors of Pacific Rim Discovery Angel Investment.

Jason Lau attained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University in 2007. Jason then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Tsinghua University and a Tsinghua-MIT Global MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, both of which were completed in 2016. In 2017, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering, Operations Research, and Business Analytics from Columbia University. Prior to their college studies, Jason Lau attended St. Andrew's College.
