Dominique Mayer has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. They started their career with an internship at Schneider Electric in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at Acsystème. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at Model Engineering Solutions GmbH. In 2016, they joined Continental, BU ADAS, as an ADAS Software Quality Assurance Engineer and stayed there until 2020. In 2020, they went on a sabbatical leave and focused on deep learning, sports, reading, and thinking. In 2020, they also worked as a Consultant at KUGLER MAAG CIE. Currently, since 2021, they are employed as an Embedded Software Engineer at Kalray.

Dominique Mayer's education history includes a Master's degree in Automatic control, Systems and Information technology from Grenoble INP - UGA, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. These include Sequence Models, Spécialisation Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects. These certifications were obtained from Coursera between May 2020 and July 2020.
