Lucas started their career in 2013 as a Reservist in the Marine Nationale, where they worked in a team of 10 and was responsible for the protection and defense of Toulon's naval base. In 2014, they worked as a Private Tutor, providing science tuition to three A-Level students, demonstrating their responsibility and ability to work with others. From 2015 to 2016, Lucas worked at STMicroelectronics as a Machine-Operator, managing the production flow in the clean room by night and optimizing the production flow of semiconductor wafers. In 2016, they had an internship at CEA, where they worked as a SW Engineer, designing an energy management demonstrator for embedded SoC on Linux. In 2017, Lucas had another internship at CEA, this time as a SW Engineer Intern, where they prototyped an occupancy grid analysis algorithm using a deep learning approach. Finally, since 2017, they have been employed at Kalray as a Senior Embedded Machine Learning Compiler Engineer, working on Many Core processors.
Lucas Mahieu completed their education in a chronological order as follows:
From 2015 to 2017, they attended the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Embedded Systems and Software.
In 2014 to 2015, they studied at Grenoble INP - Phelma, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Electronics, and Telecommunications.
Between 2012 and 2014, Lucas Mahieu attended the Military School of Aix-en-Provence, where they completed a BAC+2 degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Science.
In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Bulat Anglais (B2) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in May 2015.
