Erik Knedgen

Erik Knedgen is a seasoned quality assurance professional with over two decades of experience in the field. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance and Sanitation Manager at Kalsec Inc. since October 2012, Erik has previously held roles within the company as Quality Assurance Manager and QA Supervisor. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Abbott, where Erik worked from March 2001 to October 2012 as a Microbiology Teamleader, and a part-time instructional role at Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2003. Earlier career roles included positions as QC Chemist and QA Microbiologist at Leiner Health Products, focusing on microbiological vitamin assays and OTC challenge studies. Erik's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Biological Sciences with a focus on Yeast Genetics and Biochemistry, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University. Additional coursework in Organic Chemistry was completed at the University of Michigan.
