Danny Shapiro

Danny Shapiro has extensive experience in various industries and roles. Danny started their career as a Human Resources Officer in the IDF - Israel Defense Forces from 2002 to 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they worked as a Restaurant Manager in the restaurant industry. In 2013, they transitioned to the technology sector and became a Project Manager at Amdocs until 2015. Danny then joined Gett, where they held multiple positions including Head of Operations and Project Management, Head of Public Transportation, Release Manager, and Product Operations Manager from 2015 to 2019. Since 2019, they have been working at Kaltura, initially as a Program Delivery Director before being promoted to Senior Director and then VP of Program Delivery & Operations. At Kaltura, they have provided leadership in managing teams and overseeing agile activities, cross-company strategic initiatives, budget management, and acting as a trusted advisor. Recently, they also became an Advisory Board Member at Engineering Operations starting in 2022.

Danny Shapiro earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business, Management, and Marketing from Bar-Ilan University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Danny also holds a certification as a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional from Scrum.org, which they obtained in 2020.
