Ben White

Ben White has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Ben is currently the Director of Engineering for the Flexibility Platform at Kaluza, where they are responsible for building the intelligent zero carbon grid of the future. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Engineering for the Flexibility Platform at Kaluza.

Before joining Kaluza, Ben worked at VCA Technology as the CTO and Technical Director, leading a global team of engineers to commercialize computer vision algorithms for security and retail markets. The products developed under their leadership received multiple awards and sold over 400k licenses.

Ben also has experience at Petards, where they were a Software Development Team Lead, managing the development of distributed IP video recording systems for various markets. Ben was involved in project managing large installations in the UK and US. Additionally, Ben worked at PI Vision and Marconi plc as a Software Engineer early in their career.

Ben White has a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering (with Honours) from the University of Warwick, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Ben then pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they are a Chartered Engineer, certified by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in 2012. Prior to their university education, they completed their A-Levels in Computing, Maths, Physics, and Electronics at Kent College, Canterbury from 1994 to 1996.
