Johannah Sharman

Johannah Sharman has extensive experience in regulatory affairs and pharmaceutical research. Johannah currently holds the position of Associate Director Regulatory Affairs at KalVista Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager at the same company from 2018 to 2021. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Regulatory Affairs Manager at KalVista Pharmaceuticals. Before joining KalVista Pharmaceuticals, they were a Regulatory Affairs Manager at Q-Regulatory Ltd from 2015 to 2016. Johannah also worked as a Preclinical Manager at Glide Pharmaceutical Technologies from 2014 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Associate Director, DMPK at Shire Pharmaceuticals from 2011 to 2014, and Group Head, DMPK at Vantia Ltd from 2008 to 2011. Johannah Sharman started their career at Ferring Research Ltd as a Senior Scientist, ADMET from 2001 to 2004, then served as Principal Scientist, ADMET from 2004 to 2006, and finally worked as Team Leader ADMET Assay Development in 2006.

Johannah Sharman earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry and Physiology with a Sandwich Year in Industry from the University of Southampton between 1994 and 1998. Johannah then pursued further education at King's College London from 1998 to 2001, obtaining a PhD in Physiology.
